Hormone Replacement Therapy

Hormone levels can change throughout adulthood and may affect how an individual feels. At Derma Rescue, hormone replacement therapy begins with an individualized consultation and clinical evaluation by a licensed medical provider.

Our providers review each patient's medical history, symptoms, relevant laboratory results, treatment goals, potential risks, and available treatment options to determine whether hormone replacement therapy may be appropriate.

Hormone therapy is not appropriate for every patient. Treatment recommendations are individualized and made by the patient's medical provider following clinical evaluation.

At Derma Rescue, we use the following services:

BioTE® Method

Derma Rescue offers the BioTE® Method as one available hormone therapy option for appropriately selected patients. The BioTE® Method utilizes bioidentical hormone pellets containing hormones such as testosterone or estrogen. When clinically appropriate, patient-specific pellets are placed subcutaneously and release hormones over time.

Treatment is provided only following an individualized medical evaluation by a licensed provider, including review of relevant medical history, symptoms, laboratory information, potential risks, and treatment alternatives.

Compounded bioidentical hormone pellets are not FDA-approved drug products and have not undergone FDA premarket review for safety, effectiveness, and quality in the same manner as FDA-approved medications. Patients are informed of this distinction as part of the informed-consent process.

Our providers determine whether hormone therapy is appropriate for each patient and discuss available treatment options, potential benefits, risks, and alternatives before treatment.

Lipo-Mino B12 Injections

Derma Rescue also offers Lipo-Mino B12 injections as part of our wellness services. These injections contain a combination of vitamins, nutrients, and amino acids.

Our providers evaluate each patient individually to determine whether this service is appropriate based on the patient's health history, wellness goals, and clinical needs.
